Michelle Rodriguez Has "Gone Both Ways", Admits Being Bisexual

Michelle Rodriguez openly discusses her sexuality in a recent Entertainment Weekly interview.

"Eh, they're not too far off," she says. "I've gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too f-ing curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks."

The Latina bombshell is famous for speaking her mind and humorous antics. She was quoted for her disappointment over the plot of The Girl With A Dragon Tattoo saying:

"Why does she have to get raped - raped! - before taking vengeance? Why do the stakes have to be so much higher for a woman than a man? You wouldn't do that to Pacino".

Even award-winning movie ninja James Cameron who directed her in Avatar agrees about Rodriguez' candidness and brutal honesty.

"She doesn't hold back. There's no filter. She's a lot of fun to hang out with because you always know what she's thinking."

Growing Up

Michelle Rodriguez is a pure-blooded Latina. Her mother is from the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico is the hometown of his father. She calls her mother the toughest woman in the world. But, when mom had a nervous breakdown, they were forced to move from San Antonio to Jersey City.

This is where she began honing her wit on the streets and learned how to curse with all her might. Rodriguez also mentioned dressing up like a boy on purpose, and promised her brother that she would never be like her teenager friends who got pregnant at such a young age.

She dropped out of high school and lasted for a month in a technical school. Obviously, her path is already carved. Rodriguez' brother persuaded her to work as an extra to earn money. She portrayed several characters at the background. Her turning point came when her friend ended up in jail after partying.

"I said to myself, 'I don't want to be a lowlife,'" she says. "I was always that kid who'd look up at the stars and think, 'I don't belong here. Where do I belong?'"

Soon after this realization, she took a train and a leap of faith going to the Big Apple, where according to Alicia Keys "concrete jungle where dreams are made of". She then auditioned for the role that will change her life forever.

Rodriguez' charisma and wild child demeanor earned her a nod from Karyn Kusama, the director of Girlfight. A year after, she made her debut in Hollywood as Vin Diesel's tough cookie lady love in the first Fast & Furious.
