Malia Jones is of Hawaiian, Spanish-Filipino, German and English descent. She was born in Loma Linda, California, but she and her family moved to Kailua, Hawaii when she was two.

It's not clear when the two got divorced but reports say she separated from Stedman long before she met O'Loughlin.
