The Chicago Bulls are one of the teams considered as the most likely landing spot for Kevin Love after offering an intriguing trade package to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Bulls reportedly offered rookie Doug McDermott along with Taj Gibson and "other assets" to the Timberwolves. The freshman forward admitted that he is aware of all trade rumors surrounding him, but he insisted that he is not paying attention to it at this point.

"I didn't really pay attention to it much," McDermott said via Chicago Sun-Times. "'I think rumors happen a lot. There have been a lot this offseason, so you've just got to stay patient. You can't really read into that stuff. I'm just focused on what I can do to become better."

But while he is aware of the talks and has been asked about it by people close to him, the 22-year-old said that he won't bother asking the Bulls about it, saying that he is ready for any eventuality.

"To be honest, I get asked about it; I don't really ask anyone," McDermott said. "I try to stay off Twitter, and a lot of people ask me or text me through my friends. But I just ignore it. Whatever happens, happens."

Meanwhile, Bulls superstar Derrick Rose admitted that he was disappointed after Carmelo Anthony decided to return to the New York Knicks despite a strong pitch from Chicago.

Rose clarified, though, that he is not mad at Anthony, but he pointed out that the game would have been easier for the Bulls had they signed the All-Star forward.

"If he was to come, the game would be easy," Rose said via New York Post. "I don't know how easy but, of course, it would be easy. And that we wanted him. Just plain and simple, we wanted him to come. He decided to go somewhere else. But it's no hard feelings. I can't get mad at the decision he made. He's a grown man."

The Bulls failed to sign Anthony, but successfully made moves that could turn them into a serious title contender next season especially if Rose will manage to stay healthy next season and if they will be successful in their pursuit of Love.
