Michael Jordan – Kobe Bryant Comparison: Brandon Jennings Believes LA Lakers Superstar is Better Than MJ

The longstanding debate about who is the better player between Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant will live forever, and Brandon Jennings stirred the comparison again.
Jennings gave his take on the comparison, saying confidently that Bryant is the "Greatest Of All Time" and not Jordan, who is considered by many as the best basketball player ever.
Jennings pointed out that Jordan had more help during his six NBA championship runs than Bryant when he won five titles with the Lakers.
The Detroit Pistons point guard said that Bryant only had Shaquille O'Neal during his first three championships, while Jordan had Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Ron Harper, Horace Grant, Steve Kerr, Toni Kukoc, John Paxson and B.J. Armstrong.
However, Lakers Nation conceded that Jennings, who was still a kid when Jordan was dominating in the NBA, failed to mention other players, who played big roles during the Lakers title runs last decade.
"A few former Lakers like Derek Fisher, Glen Rice, Rick Fox, Robert Horry and Brian Shaw would beg to differ with Jennings' opinion for the first three titles, but he neglects to mention them," Lakers Nation noted. "Also, there are few other former Lakers that might perk up after hearing Jennings' comments on Twitter. Pau Gasol, Metta World Peace, Trevor Ariza and Lamar Odom might have something to say about Jennings."
Lakers Nation also added that Jennings might get vindication for his comparison later if Bryant will be able to lead the Lakers to another title in the next two years - now that he is not expected to get a lot of help like before.
"f Kobe can rally his troops and put together another title run or two, the future Hall of Famer will have a strong case at gaining ground on Jordan. In the meantime, the debate will go on with Jordan continuing to tilt the scales with a sixth ring weighing heavily in his favor," Lakers Nation noted.
Jennings' statement stirred different reaction online with most of them bashing the flamboyant guard, who has been expressing admiration for Bryant over the past several years.
