Angel Di Maria is reportedly on his way out of Real Madrid, but teammate Sergio Ramos believes that the Argentine wants to stay at Bernabeu.

In an interview with ESPN FC, Ramos said that he has not talked with Di Maria about his future with the club, but the Spain international is convinced that the veteran midfielder doesn't want to leave Real Madrid if he is to decide.

"I am not one to recommend what to do, we live in a democratic country," Ramos said. "Di Maria knows what it is like abroad, and what it is like being at Madrid. I do not believe 'El Fideo' intends to leave. I would sign for him to stay here all his life."

Paris Saint-Germain expressed interest in acquiring Di Maria, but the club reportedly backed out of the talks after Real Madrid demanded for a fee around 75 million Euros, making Manchester United as the most likely destination of the Argentina international.

Teammate James Rodriguez also played down talks that his move to Real Madrid this summer is the main reason why Di Maria is for sale, reiterating his belief that he can co-exist with the 26-year-old star.

"Of course we are compatible," Rodriguez said of Di Maria. "That there are great players is always good, and he is a great player."

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted on Monday that he is unsure whether or not Di Maria will still be with the club after the transfer window closes next month.

"I don't know what Di Maria has decided," Ancelotti said. "Until August 31 it will continue the same way and after that everything will be cleared up and things will return to normal."

But while Di Maria is still at Bernabeu, Ancelotti pointed out that he will continue to be a vital part of their rotation.

"Di Maria is available like all the others. He may or may not start the game and has opportunities, but like everyone else," Ancelotti said. "What I won't do is put out the same team in both legs. One team will play tomorrow and on Friday I will change it a little."
