Channing Tatum Shifts From Being An Actor To Being a Director

Hollywood actor Channing Tatum has been known for doing comedy and drama in the silver screen and he was also dubbed by People Magazine as the Sexiest Man Alive back in 2012.

According to Gotcha Movies, the actor has already talked about even before his dream of becoming a director. Having said that, it is looking like Tatum has finally got the project that will showcase his skills in his new venture. The name of the movie that he will make his debut on the director's chair is called Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock.

Reid Carolin is said to co-produce and also co-direct this movie with him. The story is an adaptation of Matthew Quick's novel, the same author who is also behind the hit movie Silver Linings Playbook. This is not the first time he will be working with Carolin since they both have done the movies Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL.

Tatum's directorial movie debut is about a teacher who cares one of his troubled students who decides to bring a gun in school to kill his best friend and commit suicide after. His student also bid everyone goodbye before his plan to do all that murderous act. Tatum's role on this film is really different from Magic Mike and probably even more different than any of the dramatic roles that he have worked in the past.

The past couple of years have been a good one for the actor now director that his projects turned to be all successful. From doing the Magic Mike movie series even up to his latest with Steve Carrel that The Foxcatcher. His fans are never doubting his abilities that this new project is more likely to be a hit.
