After bagging her 19th career Grand Slam with a straight set victory over Maria Sharapova at the Australian Open on Saturday, Serena Williams dropped a tasty hint on the real score between her and coach Patrick Mouratoglou during the post-match interview.

Serena Williams has successfully added another Grand Slam title to her trophy haul, after beating rival Maria Sharapova in straight sets to win the 19th Slam of her legendary career at the Australian Open Championship.

For the 16th straight time, Williams proved dominant in every facet of her game as she overwhelmed the Russian diva 6-3, 7-6 to move three Grand Slams away towards trying Steffi Graf's record of 22 women's singles major title in her career.

Despite losing again to the American, the 27-year old Sharapova said she's savoring every opportunity of playing against a woman whom she considers the best in the world.

"I've not beaten her for a long time, but I love every time I play her as she is the best and you want to play against the best," said Sharapova (via BBC), who absorbed her fifth loss against Williams in a Grand Slam tourney.

For BBC Sports Russell Fuller, Serena Williams' excellent campaign in the Land Down Under only proved the 33-year old champion hasn't lost a step as she remained overpowering against her younger and more athletic foes. And with another slam in the bag, Fuller believes it won't be impossible anymore for Williams to at least equal Graf's Slam record.

"Back-to-back Grand Slam titles have done wonders for Williams' chances of at least matching Steffi Graf's haul of 22. She still has the power and the force of spirit to overwhelm everyone else in the world, even if at 33 the clock is ticking - albeit too slowly for her opponents," according to Fuller.

Grateful To Have You

Ever since he became Serena's coach in 2012, Patrick Mouratoglou played an important part in Williams' resurgence late in her career. The tennis power couple produced six Grand Slam titles since they forged their partnership that has apparently become more and more intimate as suggested by Serena's remark during the post-match interview.

"Serena Williams on Patrick Mouratoglou "I am so greatful to have you in my life," according to Tennis.com.
