Samsung is reportedly preparing its Galaxy S6 for a launch in the coming weeks, GSM Arena reported.

Images of the casing of the reported Samsung Galaxy S6 have surfaced online. The photos showed a rugged cover with colorful border lines such as red, pink, white and purple. As of this time, there is no official confirmation from Samsung if the images are legit.

The Galaxy S6 will reportedly be unique from Samsung's other smartphones, which runs with Qualcomm Snapdragon. There are speculations that the S6 will come with the company's own 64-bit Exynos chipset. The device will reportedly have 3GB of RAM and an internal memory of 128 GB, according to Forbes.

Rumors say that the primary camera is in good quality with 20 megapixels and 4992 x 3744 pixel resolution. The secondary camera is at 5 megapixels and both cams can accommodate geo tagging, face detection, panorama and touch focus.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 will reportedly be unique from other smartphones produced by the Korean company. Samsung has started to change its designs with the unveiling of the Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Note 4. Most users complained about the "cheap looking" appearance of Samsung phones but with its latest releases, the tech giant upped their design standards.

Reports say that the framework of Galaxy S6 will be highly similar to Apple's iPhone. The removal back case of the usual Samsung phones will no longer be seen in the S6. It will reportedly hold the SIM and SD card on the sides and the whole case will be made of metal, Know Your Mobile reported.

Another change that may disappoint devoted Samsung fans is the non-removable battery. If this pushes through, the Galaxy S6 will be the first Samsung phone with that kind of battery. The change can be a good move depending on the feedback of the users when the phone is released.

As for the cost, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will have a starting price of €749 or $848.35. Fans expect the device to be launched at Barcelona on March 1 during the Mobile World Congress.
