Matt Bomer, together with Channing Tatum, returned in "Magic Mike XXL", igniting the big screen with their humor and dance moves.

Following its initial release on Thursday (June 25), this feel-good movie sequel of "Magic Mike" has already received a lot of good reviews.

Bomer plays the character of Ken, a Z-list actor who loves to show off his set of pipes. Before he got the role in this movie, he was known for the role of "White Collar"'s Neal Caffrey, which became known to be one of the highest-rated shows on cable television.

He is undeniably famous, and the story of his life is no secret to public. Check the list below and find out those small details about him you probably didn't know.

1. Bomer attended the same school with several Hollywood stars.

He graduated from Klein High School in Spring, Texas in 1996, according to IMDb. Apparently, singer Lyle Lovett, writer Tom Vaughan, "E.R." actress Sherry Stringfield, "John Carter" star Lyn Collins, and "The Hobbit: Desolation of the Smaug" actor Lee Pace also went to the same school.

2. Bomer is a distant cousin of a former 'N Sync member.

Believe it or not, he is the distant cousin of Justin Timberlake. They are both descendants of Edward Bomer, who was born in 1960. He also played a supporting role in Timberlake's film "In Time" with Amanda Seyfried, according to Tribute.

3. Bomer lost forty pounds for a movie role.

Bomer played the role of Felix Turner, a reporter, in "The Normal Heart", who wanted to expose the truth about AIDs crisis to both the government and gay community. He had to lose forty pounds for that role, which was not easy at all. Filming had to even stop between July and November 2013 just to give him time to lose such weight.

4. Bomer made an official announcement about his sexual orientation while giving an acceptance speech.

Bomer, who had been refusing to comment about his relationship or sexual orientation in public, confirmed his relationship with Simon Halls. He did this on Feb. 11, 2012, during his acceptance speech at the Steve Chase Humanitarian Award.

The couple now has three kids born from a surrogate mother.

5. Bomer made an appearance on "Glee."

In one of the episodes of the Fox musical series, "Glee," Bomer played the role of Cooper Anderson. He was the big brother of Blaine Anderson, played by Darren Criss.

"I thought the whole episode was a lot of fun, and I was really proud to be a part of it," he said during an interview with The Backlot.
