Chrissy Teigen uploaded a controversial snap that instantly took Instagram by a storm. Unfortunately, it was removed by the site moderators on Monday.

The 29-year-old model, who's obviously very comfortable with her skin, shared a topless photo of herself.

Say what now? A topless photo on Instagram?

That's right. The snap, where she was only wearing a pair of white knee-high boots and a high-waist pants while mounting on a chair, was from her W Magazine shoot, according to Mirror.

She captioned the photo, "This story shot by#mertandmarkus for @wmag. Honored to be in the company of such gorgeous women! Makeup, #yadim and hair@jimmypaulhair - thank you, W Magazine and @edward_enninful! @imgmodels."

Teigen vowed that her topless pics will return, Daily Mail reported. While this promise has been made, her mom hit the social media site with a powerful comeback.

Any wild guesses?

Vilailuck Teigen placed a little magic touch and uploaded the same photo of her daughter on her own Instagram. It was captioned, "Just in case they take it [down]."

Oh yeah, that's right! Don't ever mess with a proud mommy.

This whole thing isn't new to Mrs. Teigen, Cosmopolitan has learned. Apparently, she was the one who took the other nude photo of John Legend's wife which Instagram also zapped.

Meanwhile, this talented beauty is reportedly working on a cookbook. Her husband claims that she's a great cook, and that talent is making him gain weight — guaranteed five pounds.

The "All of Me" singer said that sometimes he needed to travel just to lose weight. Legend met Teigen during the "Stereo" music video shoot.

Seven years later, they got engaged. The couple married on Sept. 14, 2013 in Como, Italy.

Teigen is currently co-hosting Spike TV's "Lip Sync Battle" with LL Cool J.
