During the press conference of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's dramedy series "Ballers" at HBO's Television Critics Association's press tour in Beverly Hills last Thursday, one critic asked his opinion about Hogan, who was dumped by the WWE earlier this week after a recording scandal of the wrestling legend using racist language was released, to which he revealed that he was disappointed, Entertainment Weekly has learned.

According to E Online, The "Ballers" star explained that, "I was pretty disappointed with what I heard, like all of us, by the way. I was disappointed in him. I have known Terry (Hulk Hogan's real name) for a lot of years. My dad helped trained him in Florida in the '70s when he was breaking into the business. I come from a very long lineage of professional wrestlers,"

He added that he'd not known Hogan to be a racist. Johnson smiled then said, "It's funny, it's one of those things where, I'm not justifying what he said, but we've all talked trash, especially in private. He said what he said and now he's paying the price," Entertainment Weekly reported.

It was last week when the WWE announced that they were terminating Hogan's contract just before the former professional wrestler issued a public apology.

In related news, CNN Money reported that the Hulk Hogan vs Gawker legal smackdown has been put on hold until next year.

Florida Judge Pamela Campbell, who would be handling Hogan's case, said that her docket was clogged until March 2016.

Terry Bollea or known as Hulk Hogan is suing Gawker $100 million, because the latter, based on Hogan's allegation, invaded his privacy by showing a sex tape that involved him.

The leaked sex tape revealed the former pro-wrestler making vulgar, racist comments. This incident prompted the WWE to cut ties with Hogan, one of their most famous performers.

Gawker responded using a repeated statement in the court filing to Hogan's allegation that, "Hulk Hogan has only one person to blame for what he said and no one from Gawker had any role in leaking that information."
