Things are now looking brighter for Lyme disease survivor and singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne as she is set to embark on a new journey with a different career — acting.

The Canadian singer recently did an interview with Us Weekly and revealed 25 interesting things about her. The final revelation proved to be a bombshell since Lavigne said that she's now ready to engage in filmmaking.

"My next goal in life is moviemaking! I want to act in a Christmas movie, horror film, comedy, and more," the 30-year-old songstress said.

Other things she disclosed to Us Weekly include her passion for art and painting, her obsession with dyeing her hair with "almost every color of the rainbow" and her desire to have a teacup dog someday.

The "Complicated" hitmaker also revealed in the tell-all list that her diet is "sugar-free, yeast-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, and all organic," but she also revealed that her "cheat day" food is poutine, which according to her is "melted curd cheese on french fries with gravy."

Lavigne also dished about her yearning to meet comedian Will Ferrell one day and her admiration for her older brother, Matt.

Another thing that also stood out in her list was her dream of moving to Italy. The wife of Nickelback lead vocalist Chad Kroeger said, "I want to move to Italy. I feel dreamy and happy there. I want to eat, drink wine, and make incredible memories there in my future," according to Financial Express.

It's good to know that the "Fly" singer is doing well now, especially after her bout with the crippling symptoms of Lyme disease.

In late June, Avril Lavigne bravely opened up about her struggle with the disease which she referred to as the worse time of his life, reported CBC News.

"I'm just really grateful to know that I will make a 100 percent recovery. I'm so excited for life after this," she said during an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America."
