‘Fallout 4’ UPDATE: Bethesda Gives More Freedom To Players, Removes Level Cap!

Bethesda will be breaking some gameplay traditions by removing the level cap from "Fallout 4," Bethesda announced on Thursday.
"This is an enormous dynamic world where you can create any kind of character you want, go where you want and do whatever you want," Todd Howard said during the "Fallout 4" presentation at E3 2015.
"Player freedom remains our absolute number one goal," he added.
It seems like Bethesda Game Studios is staying true to that. The company took to Twitter and announced the update: "To our fans who've asked: Fallout 4 doesn't end when the main story is over and there is no level cap. You can keep playing and leveling."
Fans may remember that it wasn't the case for the predecessors of "Fallout 4," "Fallout: New Vegas" and "Fallout 3."
In "Fallout 3," once it's over, it's over. Players can no longer go back and wander into the wasteland of "Fallout 3" for recreation, and the same goes with Fallout: New Vegas."
If the player did not explore enough before the game ends, that would be it, unless the player loads up a pre-endgame save.
If players wanted to go beyond the initial level cap of 20 in "Fallout 3," players would need to add the Broken Steel DLC, according to Game Spot. While "Fallout: New Vegas" has 30 but can be pushed up to 50, and with each of the four add-ons raising the cap level by five.
"Fallout" has cap level of 21. "Fallout 2," "Fallout Tactics," and "Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel" have caps at 99, Euro Gamer reported.
Removing the level cap from "Fallout 4" appears to be a good news to the diehards, however, PC Gamer thinks that Bethesda is opening a door to some potentially risky issues.
"Fallout 4" will be released on Nov. 10.
