John Fogerty will become Adam Levine's advisor on the singing talent search "The Voice" Season 9. People reported the Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman said, "Hangin' with Adam, singing 'Lookin' Out My Backdoor' with him ... [I'm] just having the time of my life right now. Adam has an incredible voice and I am honored that he asked me to join him."
"I have great respect for the amount of work that goes into this show and the contestants that I got to hear sing really impressed me."
He even hinted at what's to come when "The Voice" Season 9 airs on NBC on Sept. 21. He teased, "It appears Adam has the winner. I saw something really unique and special. I can't give away details, but when this show airs I think the world will see for themselves and it won't be a secret for long."
The "Fortunate Son" hitmaker will fill Ellie Goulding's seat. The "Love Me Like You Do" singer was Adam Levine's adviser in "The Voice" Season 8, as per Entertainment Weekly.

3. His dominance in the group which resulted to the group's internal conflict led to Tom Fogerty leaving the Creedence Clearwater Revival in January 1971. The band later disbanded in October 1972, as per Rolling Stone.
4. His song "Fortunate Son" was used in various TV series' such as "Parenthood" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," as per IMDb.
5. Last July, John Fogerty filed a civil lawsuit for breach of contract pertaining the use of his former Creedence Clearwater Revival bandmates of the nickname Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Rolling Stone reported.
