As FOX brings back "Bones" for its 11th season, more fans are getting excited as speculations about the hit crime drama are running rampant. While it has been previously reported that the upcoming season will be its last, it remains unclear if Booth and Brennan's saga will finally end this season.

In several spoiler reports, FOX has hinted some interesting details about "Bones" Season 11. One of which is the drama picks up six months after the season 10 finale. According to International Business Times, the show will depict Booth and Brennan's life as they start anew. Unfortunately, it won't go as planned.

"We will be picking them up as they have been living a life that they have been wanting to live," showrunner Stephen Nathan told The Hollywood Reporter. "From that they'll have to go back to the lives they had before, and clearly they will be different people and different circumstances will allow us to continue in a new life.

"Time doesn't stop. You can't go back and pick up where you left off. You can only pick up from where you are at any given moment. That's going to have a lot of great conflict and a lot of surprises for the characters and the audience."

There will also be a new guest star in "Bones" Season 11. TVLine noted that "24" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Kim Raver will be joining the case as Special Agent Grace Miller, who will be involved in the investigation surrounding Booth's disappearance in the first two episodes of the show.

In the premiere episode of "Bones" Season 11, it has been speculated that the murder, which would bring the Jeffersonian couple back to Washington D.C., will be of Booth's brother Jared (Brendan Fehr) in the second episode entitled "The Brother in the Basement."

It was also revealed that "Greek" alum Dilshad Vadsaria will reprise her role as Jared's wife Padme in "Bones" Season 11, Latin Post has learned.

Furthermore, fans can expect back-to-back crossover episodes between "Bones" and "Sleepy Hollow" in the upcoming season. As per Movie News Guide, the date of the much-awaited crossover has been set on Oct. 29. It also revealed that there were plans to make time jumps between the seasons.

Meanwhile, "Bones" Season 11 will premiere on FOX on Oct. 1, Thursday.
