Rockstar Editor, the movie-making feature of "Grand Theft Auto 5," has been announced to hit PS4 and Xbox One in the game's next patch. IGN learned from a blog post on Rockstar Newswire that console gamers will soon have this feature.

"GTA 5's" Rockstar Editor can be used to make fake movie trailers and short films. International Business Times found out from the notes of renowned YouTuber MrBossFTW that it may also offer new game content for story and online mode.

There are no official announcements yet on the exact release date of the said "GTA 5" update, but many believed that since it was proposed for summer launch, it was possible to come out by the end of August or before Sept. 23.

Additionally, with the forthcoming release of Rockstar Editor on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, more enhancements and add-on features in stunt races, deathmatches and regular races are expected for "GTA Online."

Meanwhile, there have been rumors about the release of "GTA 5" single player expansion pack named "Grove Street Stories." According to iDigital Times, a "Grand Theft Auto" Wikipedia page announced the release of the new DLC with the said title.

The reported description of the "GTA 5: Grove Street Stories" announcement stated: "A new updated version to "Grand Theft Auto 5" will include a single player expansion pack called Grove Street Stories (not yet confirmed), set before all three characters met in North Yankton. The release date has been published to be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 for two weeks then Xbox One and PC which will receive it on 22 September 2015 at 10 AM GMT.

The site noticed discrepancies in the announcement, and it enumerated the reasons why it was inaccurate. One is the "not yet" confirmed in a parenthesis.

Second, the gaming site said the three characters never met in North Yankton. Third, the release date of Sept. 22 doesn't make sense because there were no details from Rockstar about it, and to top it all, that Wikipedia story disappeared from the official page.
