"X-Men: Apocalypse" started filming in Montreal, Canada in April. For the past months, Director Bryan Singer and some of the cast had been updating the social media, sharing some behind-the-scenes snaps of the new movie.

Before August wraps up, here's a quick recap on the updates shared by "X-Men: Apocalypse" director and cast on their Instagram accounts.

1. The Kicking Practice

This is probably the most recent update on "X-Men: Apocalypse" cast Olivia Munn, who will be playing Psylocke, shared the video footage of her martial arts practice on Instagram.

2. The Film Wrap Up After Party

The first unit production of the movie already wrapped up over the weekend, Venture Capital Post reported. What came after was of course — the after party!

The photo shows Munn partying with the film's director, Bryan Singer, Alexandra Shipp, who is playing Storm, and Ben Hardy, who's playing the role of Angel.

3. Storm In The Desert Or — Not?

Shipp was photographed, green-screened to be exact, with deserts and pyramids in the background, as per Cinemablend.

4. Are These Aliens?

The exact scene on the snap was hard to guess, according to Entertainment Weekly. Although, he hashtagged it with Rosswell, so many speculated that he could be referring the location in New Mexico.

5. That Big "X" Thing

What's in the snap will probably remain a mystery, or maybe fans can give themselves a challenge to spot this location when the film hits theaters.

Everyday the excitement builds up among fans of "X-Men: Apocalypse." The anticipation for more on-set snaps shared on social media by the director or the other cast is growing.
