"Game of Thrones" Season 6 may still be far away, but that doesn't stop fans from anticipating. The massively successful fantasy TV series reportedly cast Danish actor Pilou Asbæk as Euron Greyjoy.

Asbaek's character Euron is the uncle of Theon and Yara Greyjoy and the younger brother of Balon Greyjoy, Lord of the Iron Islands.

According to Variety, in George R.R Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels, Euron is one of the most skilled warriors that captains the ship called "Silence." The said character is also known for being unpredictable. If the TV series were to follow the novel closely, it seems that Pilou Asbæk will play an important role in the series.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 will take an interesting turn as AV Club reported that it will add more "Ironborn" people on the show.

Apart from Asbæk, the hit TV series also added other actors in its cast, namely, Ian McShane on an unspecified role and Max Von Sydow, as Bran Stark's mentor The Three Eyed Raven.

Max Von Sydow maybe best known as playing Father Lankester Merrin in the classic Horror movie, "The Exorcist."

But the cast isn't the only one getting a refresh on "Game of Thrones" as Vanity Fair has reported that it added a new shooting location.

Although plot details for the upcoming season may be very scarce, one source of speculations has been the set locations of the show.

This season, a stunning Spanish castle, used as a location for the "Tower of Joy," has made fans speculate about the parentage and future of beloved character, Jon Snow. Another added location is an Irish rope bridge that may imply the long awaited death of Balon Greyjoy.

Catch the premiere of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 on April 3, 2016 and stay tuned for more updates.
