"World of Warships" is taking the "World of Tanks" and "World of Planes" into the context of the sea, and for those who like or maybe just curious about playing this kind of games, Wargaming has a good news. The game will be released on Thursday, Sept. 17.

Before the "World of Warships" hits the PCs, here's a quick recap on the things we have learned so far about the game.

1. The Warships

The player can choose from four types of naval warships — destroyer, cruiser, battleships and aircraft carriers. The first three plays pretty much the same, but the fourth has this planes player can use for striking the enemy, so strategy is important.

More than 80 vessels, including Yamato and aircraft carrier Midway, are available, according to VG247. More nations are expected to be added before the year ends.

2. Controls

"World of Warships" uses the WASD for movement, which is the standard controls for most of the PC games. As per PC Gamer, set to hotkeys were different ammo loadouts, weapon types and utility actions, such as repair.

"Q" and "E" can be used for sharp turning. If the player wanted a precise shot, he can use the "shift."

3. Gameplay

The game is primarily a battle between two teams, MNR Daily learned. The maps, which reportedly will have its own unique challenge, are based on real continents like Pacific, Arctic and Atlantic.

"World of Warships," unlike the other multiplayer games, offers one life per game. This means that if the player's ship is down, he's out for the remainder of the game.

4. PC Recommended Requirements

It is recommended that the operating system is Windows 7 or newer, and an Intel Core i3 at 2.4Ghz and higher or AMD FX 6300 and higher processor, Techly reported. A 30GB hard drive space, a 4GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce 460GTX (550 Ti) and higher or AMD 250x, AMD 7770 and higher are also recommended.

It would be best if the internet connection is at 1024 Kbps or higher and the screen resolution is at 1920×1080 or higher.

5. Official Release

The game will be released on "World of Warship's" official site.
