Pebble unveiled Wednesday on a blog post that it will add a new member to its uncomplicated smartwatches.

Meet the new Pebble Time Round.

So what are the new features and specs a smartwatch a regular watch lover can look forward to from this new device?

Round, Thin and Classic Features

Other Pebble smartwatches are square, however, this newest addition to the company's line-up is round shaped — the face measures 38.5mm. It is thinner compared to its predecessors and other manufacturer's smartwatches, with only 7.55mm width.

It is reportedly all metal, making it closely similar to Pebble Time Steel, according to The Verge. The band comes in two sizes, 14mm and the standard 20mm.

Specs Under The Hood

Pebble has configured its Timeline to refresh the entire page as the user scrolls instead of going through it line by line, and it also has text wrap.

It is offering an SDK, which will let the developers create and modify apps to support the new round display, ArsTechnica reported. The report further stated that the SDK will cover black and color displays on different models, so the new apps will work on any models.

This splash resistant device also has a microphone for voice actions, which is available when the smartwatch is used with an Android phone. This feature will reportedly be available soon in iOS.

More Fitness Update

Pebble's always been focused on fitness, so on top of the continuous software updates, it will also add more fitness updates soon, CNET has learned.

"We're going to be doing a lot more with fitness and activity tracking over the next couple of months," Eric Migicovsky, CEO of Pebble, said.

Battery Life

The battery life for the company's other smartwatches reportedly lasts from seven to ten days. This one, though, is reported to last for only up to two days because of its new interface.

To compensate, Pebble has added a quick-charge feature, where it provides a day's worth of battery life with only 15minutes of charging.

Release Date & Pricing

Migicovsky said that they will start shipping out the new smartwatches in November, but they are now available for pre-order at Pebble.com, Best Buy, Target, and Amazon.

Pebble Time Round starts at $249.
