Amazon Prime is offering a big markdown deal for its existing and new customers. Today, the regular subscription price of $99 was dropped to $67, but consumers may need to hurry because the offer will last for only 24 hours, according to the Daily Caller.

Subscription to Amazon Prime entitles a member free two-day shipping on many items sold in Amazon.com site. Aside from that, the Prime member will also get to enjoy free access to Amazon Music, free Prime radio stations, free E-books of more than 800,000, a special sale access — members will get a 30 minute early bird access to special sales on Amazon — and free unlimited photo storage.

For those who love to watch movies, not only does this subscription offers access to thousands of movies and TV shows, the Prime-eligible ones can now be downloaded and played back even without an Internet connection, WBIR.com reported.

Here are some of the movies coming to Amazon Prime this October, as per the report of ComingSoon.net. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1," "March of the Penguins," "The Secret Garden" (1993) and "Astro Boy."

"The Blacklist" season 3, "Sleepy Hollow" season 3, "The Flash" season 2, "iZombie" season 2 and "Arrow" season 4 will also be coming to Prime.

Amazon Prime subscription can be advantageous for gamers who purchase the games right after the release because of the discounts. The thing is, the game deals are not so consistent.

There's no way to know ahead of time if the game you desire will be getting a discount or when the discount ends. These deals are kept secret unless you are subscribed to Prime and you have added the game to the cart in order to see the discount, according to IGN.

The site found out that the upcoming games such as "Fallout 4" is priced at $53, "Star Wars Battlefront" at $55, "Halo 5" at $50, "Halo 5: Guardians Limited Collector's Edition" at $230 and "Destiny: The Taken King" at $50 with Amazon Prime subscription.

Subscribing to Amazon Prime, for new members, is just simple. Customers will have to purchase and redeem it online, while existing customers can buy the program as a gift and email it to themselves.
