‘Sailor Moon Crystal’ To Introduce Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune & Sailor Saturn When CONFIRMED Season 3 Airs

Finally, “Sailor Moon Crystal” fans can now rejoice as it has been announced and confirmed that Season 3 for the much-loved reboot of the famous anime adaptation of Naoko Takeuchi’s manga is going to happen.

Crunchyroll broke the good news on Monday in the wake of the finale of the previous season of the show that was launched in April. The show reportedly ended its Japanese TV broadcast with the "Dark Moon Arc."

Following the finale of the Niconico-ran series "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal," the announcement that "Sailor Moon Crystal" is returning for a third season came from Toei Animation, to the delight of solid Moonies — fans of the anime/manga.

So what can fans of the hit anime series expect from the show when it returns for season 3?

Well, the show is now going to bring in more characters into the mix since the third run of the anime reboot will chronicle the Death Busters arc, Anime News Network has learned.

"Sailor Moon Crystal" Season 3 is finally introducing to viewers Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Saturn as the storyline is now going to gather all ten Sailor Senshi.

Kotono Mitsuishi is to reprise her role as the voice actress behind Usagi Tsukino aka Sailor Moon. Other voice actors who are joining the show's third season are Hisako Kanemoto for Ami Mizuno aka Sailor Mercury, Ami Koshimizu aka Makoto Kino aka Sailor Jupiter, Shizuka Itou for Minako Aino aka Sailor Venus and Rina Satou for Rei Hino/Sailor Mars.

"Sailor Moon Crystal" is not only the reboot of the famous anime franchise it is also considered as the most faithful adaptation to the manga thus far.

"Sailor Moon" was a hit 1990s anime series, so it's not surprising that Toei Animation decided to reboot the series in 2012 in honor of the series' 20th anniversary.

However, due to unavoidable circumstances, the reboot was delayed and only made its debut in 2014, as per Tech Times.
