The “Dancing With The Stars” Season 21 journey was cut short for “Don’t Be Tardy” star Kim Zolciak after she suffered a mini-stroke, but now that she’s well and she wants to return to the competition, judge Carrie Ann Inaba is not letting her in.

Could this be another dramatic turn in Zolciak's life? The 37-year-old reality star hit a major bump in the road to her dancing endeavor when she had a mini-stroke two weeks ago. Following which, she was hospitalized and missed a week of ABC's ballroom dancing competition "Dancing With The Stars" Season 21.

On Sept. 28, the unfortunate news that Zolciak and professional partner Tony Dolovani have been eliminated from the show came, citing that missing the performance was clear grounds for elimination. The news came despite being cleared by her doctors to dance but not given the go signal to fly, CelebDirtyLaundry has learned.

Since learning about her elimination, Kim admitted that she wants to return and dance again. She even launched a petition for "DWTS" to allow her to join again with Dolovani, as per StarPulse

Taking her thoughts to Instagram, Zolciak wrote: "I was cleared to dance on Friday when I was discharged from the hospital, so Saturday morning I was up rehearsing not even 12 hrs after. I had no restrictions BUT flying until today. Yes the timing sucked but ultimately my health is first. I wanted to dance here in ATL via satellite last night I could dance I just couldn't fly. I'm forever grateful for my dance partner @tonydovolani who has always supported me and All Of you my amazing fans!!!!!!!! Regardless I'll be dancing my ass off at the finale."

Since launching the petition five days ago, it gathered 22,738 signatures and 11,601 comments as of press time. However, "Dancing With The Stars" has yet to give a positive response to Zolciak's request.

Then, there is also the issue that the judges are against it. Carrie Ann Inaba even addressed this personally when she did an interview with E! News

"I think that it would not be fair. because the rules are the rules and she didn't compete. It doesn't feel right for me for her to come back," Inaba was quoted as saying during the interview.

She then went on to say, "The best part of this situation is she's OK. She had a stroke and she survived and she's doing well."
