“The Flash” Season 2 will start after the defeat of Eobard Thawne aka Reverse Flash, Barry Allen’s arch-nemesis. The team will have to find a way to stop the singularity swirling high up on Central City. The last scene shown on the finale of its freshman run showed Barry as The Flash heading into the eye of the singularity.

Aside from trying to keep Central City safe, Barry’s also struggling to accept the death of Eddie which he felt was his fault. As a result, he has chosen to protect the city alone and pushed his friends away in an attempt to keep them out of danger. But when Atom Smasher (Adam Copeland) wreaks havoc to Central City, Iris explains to Barry that he needs all the help he can get from his friends to save the lives of the citizens of the city, as per Comicbook.com.
