“Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” released the latest cast update and it’s none other than “Hellboy” actor Ron Perlman who will be joining Harry Potter’s world in the latest J.K. Rowling movie adaptation.

Ron Perlman who played the titular role in “Hellboy” will join Eddie Redmayne, who plays Newt Scamander, preeminent magizoologist of the wizarding world as well as Gemma Chan, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton and Dan Fogler.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” will have events taking place 70 years before Harry Potter laid his eyes on Scamander’s book while studying at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The movie currently shoots in England, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

So who or what will Ron Perlman portray in the latest movie adaptation of author J.K. Rowling?

CinemaBlend reported the “Hellboy” actor will play a goblin. It would seem an odd choice for Ron Perlman to play the small magical being especially that he’s tall but in a good way if “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” follows the same visual approach that “Harry Potter” did to Warwick Davis who portrayed the role of Griphook in “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” then Ron Perlman would not have a hard time adjusting with special effects make-up. He’s had his fair share in that department with “Hellboy” and “Beauty and the Beast,” a 1987 TV series.

Aside from “Hellboy” and its sequel “Hellboy II: The Golden Army,” Ron Perlman has also appeared in “Blade” and “Pacific Rim.” He was also seen in “Sons of Anarchy,” a popular TV show. He lent his voice for the animated series such as “Adventure Time,” “Teen Titans” and “Batman: The Animated Series,” as per Comicbook.com.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” will hit theaters on November 16, 2016.
