Jamie Dornan, widely known as Christian Grey from the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey," recently participated in the special celebrity edition of Channel 4's Gogglebox last Oct. 9 in support of the Stand Up To Cancer organization.
While talks and controversies over the "Fifty Shades" movies are currently at rest, leading man Jamie Dornan gave fans a glimpse of his more natural side on Friday night.
What do you get from watching other people watch TV on TV?
The answer is "a lot" especially when fans, especially the ladies, notice all the quirks and mannerisms of their favorite actor, not normally seen while portraying a role in film.
Dornan, comfortably clad in white shirt and jeans, still managed to earn praises, as cited by RTE Ten. "New found crush for âª@JamieDornan defs more appealing in casuals and an irish accent âª#Gogglebox" and "I LOVE HIM SO MUCH LOOK AT HOW PRECIOUS HE IS!!!!"
Viewers saw how the 33-year-old hunk not only eat pizza and chug beer, but also comment on and get excited about the TV Show "Strictly Come Dancing." To quote, "Jamie Dornan sounded nearly as excited as my grandma was when he found out Daniel O'Donnell was on strictly. âª#Gogglebox."
The actor's presence in the show garnered a lot of amusing feedback, overshadowing other celebrities like Nick Frost, Boy George and Miranda Hart who were also on the show at the time, according to People.
One interesting tweet read: "Definitely more attracted to âª@JamieDornan eating pizza & drinking beer on âª@StandUp2C âª#Gogglebox than I was during âª#50Shades."
And of course, let's not forget the attractive Irish accent: "Didn't realise Jamie Dornan had such a deep rich gorgeous Irish accent ((swoon)) âª#Gogglebox."
We could only hope that more than the tweets, Dornan's presence on the show also inspired many to donate to the worthy cause campaigned by the show.
