LG V10 Specs & Features: Is The Seoul-Based Company's Newest Smartphone Worth Buying?

LG V10, LG's newest smartphone, will be available for pre-order from AT&T today, and T-Mobile on Wednesday. Consumers are asking, though, if it's worth buying.

There's one way to find out. Let's check out the specs and features of LG V10.

One head-turner feature of LG's latest smartphone is its dual-screen, which targets people who do multi-tasking and photo aficionado, according to PC Mag. The main display measures 5.7 inches, with a resolution of 1440 x 2560.

LG V10's enhanced multi-tasking secondary 2.1-inch screen, with 160 x 1040 resolution, will let the users toggle from one task to another easily. It will also let the owner have easy access to time, date, battery status, and weather.

LG claims the V10 is durable and can withstand abuses of a child. Phone Arena reported that the guys from FullMag did put it to a test - with a Barrett M82A1 50-caliber.

Take a closer look at the video. The first bullet was fired and it cut the display of the LG V10, but it did not completely shatter the smartphone.

Another cool feature about LG V10 is its dual 5 MP front-facing camera for selfies and groufies. Its rear camera is 16 MP at 5312 x 2988 pixels, with LED flash and laser autofocus.

LG also did some multimedia enhancement, including steady record, 15-second auto edit, quick share, three-directional mics, wind noise filter, and 32-bit Hi-Fi DAC.

LG V10 runs in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Its other specs include a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 chipset, a Quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53 & dual-core 1.82 GHz Cortex-A57 processor, an Adreno 418 GPU and an internal memory of 64 GB, with a 4GB RAM.

What makes the device even more appealing is its removable battery, which is not common with the recently released smartphones. In addition, the wireless charging feature, which was not originally included, will be available to the device, as per Venture Capital Post.

AT&T has planned options for interested consumers, which can be checked here, and as for T-Moblie, you can check it out here. Verizon, who will also carry the LG V10, hasn't posted any details yet, Computer World learned.

LG's site doesn't show the retail price, but tech critics speculate that it will be around $790, considering its specs and features.

LG reportedly offers a 200GB memory card, extra battery, and battery charging cradle for a limited time. The company stated that this would apply to LG V10 purchased between Oct. 30 and Nov. 15 at AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon.
