The Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is said to be on its way to the USA and Europe spring of this year. The PS4 version of the PS3 strategy game RPG will be available both in retail and digital editions. The price for this version is said to be at $29.99 or a rounded-off price of $30.

According to Sega, which made the announcement early this week, this version of the Valkyria Chronicles has 1080p/60 fps and all DLC from the PS3 version, such as Hard EX Mode, Edy's Mission, Selvaria's Mission, and Challenge of the Edy Detachment.

For those who would want to take hold of this game but don't have any PS4, fret not. There is a PC version and a review says that the PC version is amazing as well. Plus, it is cheaper by $10.

Sega also revealed that the pre-ordered and limited first-run copies of 'Valkyria Chronicles Remastered' in the Americas will come in the collectible "Squad 7 Armored Case."

The company first announced an HD remake of the role-playing game in last year, during the month of November. According to the press release, the game will arrive on Sony's current-gen hardware and will come with "both Japanese and English audio, upgraded visauls and, unlike in its original release, trophy support."

This year, fans of the Valkyria Chronicles could also get a bit more excited as the Valkyria: Azure Revolution will also be released. The sad thing, however, it that there is no confirmation yet for a Western release.

Let us just all hope that it would come sooner and later, and we could start enhancing our strategy and tactics in this much-awaited, high-definition game. Reviews have said that you won't be disappointed with the quality of the graphics.
