In the past years, Apple has managed to fulfill user's needs with Apple products ranging from iPhones to Apple smart watches. Now, recent talks indicating that Apple has evidently made a step towards the field of Virtual-Reality technology, a game changer that would allow Apple users to tap in a complete computer-generated world.

For decades, virtual reality had always been a niche for futuristic dreamers, unfortunately technology in this day and age is not proven to be good enough to jump off. But Apple has made that leap to launch a product that would surely make a huge impact for the company.

Apple has already begun pursuing the project through a series of headset prototypes and new job hires. According to Techinsider, Apple has hired Doug Bowman, a prominent VR researcher who studied human-computer interaction from Virginia Tech. and also Microsoft's HoloLens engineer Nick Thompson.

Despite that Apple hasn't lead in this space, like when Facebook bought Oculus for $2 billion, the company have already known that VR would be the next best attribute to technology and a stepping stone to new source of revenue. That includes recent purchases from Apple, companies like FlyBy Media that specializes on mobile augmented reality, other companies like Metaio, Faceshift and PrimeSense.

Apple store has recently been promoting a product that enables an iPhone to turn into a virtual-reality headset, and it is now available as a "Virtual Reality Starter Pack" for $29.99, it so happens to be a creation of a newer version of Mattel's View Master. It works by inserting an iPhone into the device while operated with an app, delivers a stereoscopic experience to the viewers.

The View Master works with augmented reality and virtual reality combined, allowing users to navigate different destination, space and wildlife. A clear indication of Apple's interest in the world of virtual reality.
