Rapper DMX was close to death when he was rushed to the hospital after he suddenly stopped breathing that led to his collapse. He did not have a pulse.

Dark Man X thankfully was saved by first responders after being found lifeless in a hotel parking lot at Yonkers on Monday night.

CPR was administered and Oxygen was provided to the rapper. In a few minutes, he was able to take his first few breaths after being close to death.

The rapper known for his voice, which NYDaily describes to be gravelly, was found by the Yonkers Police responders at around 6:30 PM. A hotel staff confirmed that the artist was staying at the hotel during the week.

Reports have indicated that the victim purportedly ingested a certain unknown substance. Yonkers police declined to comment further on the matter but it is clear that the person found was DMX. The first responders immediately decided to administer Narcan intravenously once the witness reported the ingestion of an unknown substance.

Narcan is an opioid reversal drug which brought DMX back to life after suffering from the effects of the substance. Though he was semi-concsious, he was breathing.

Lt. Patrick McCormack explained that the 45 year old person was found to be lifeless. "...with no pulse, no respirations", the Yonkers Lieutenant said.

He was then rushed to a nearby hospital after the emergency first aid. Police said that he is expected to recover.

The Daily News tried to contact DMX's camp for further comments but have received no word but TMZ was able to obtain information that the rapper did not take any drugs and that there was nothing illegal found at the scene.

No matter what the case, fans are glad to hear rapper recovering even after being sentenced to jail for failing to pay for child support.
