"Love Yourself" hit maker Justin Bieber recently sat down with GQ's Caity Weaver to discuss about his career and his relationship with Hailey Baldwin.
About a year ago, the Canadian pop star has embarked on an apology tour which he began during an interview with Ellen Degeneres. The 21-year-old discussed his transformation, his faith and his relationships that have transpired throughout the years of his life. He also shared what his song "Sorry" was all about.
When asked by Caity Weaver about his new beau, who happens to be Alec Baldwin's niece, Bieber is almost in disbelief about the assumption and finally admitted once and for all that she is only "a friend he kisses." Although at one point, the "Biebs" associated Baldwin with marriage when it came down to the relationship talk.
He shared how he's just constantly looking forward to the future and doesn't focus on being with someone and just end up damaging them. "What if Hailey ends up being the girl I'm gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it's always gonna be damaged," he said. "It's really hard to fix wounds like that. It's so hard...I just don't want to hurt her."
Apart from discussing his relationship with Hailey, Justin also opened up about his usage of ADHD meds, Adderall, for about a year now. The singer shared that he's planning on getting off it because it gives him anxiety, but he doesn't omit the fact that he enjoys taking it though.
The Biebs also shared how the tables have turned that his father, Jeremy Bieber who was always absent during his childhood, became closer to him than his mother Pattie Mallete.
