Selena Gomez reportedly hung out with his ex-boyfriend's new girl, Hailey Baldwin, during a Super Bowl private party in New York on Sunday night, as reported by Seventeen.
Making her either the "coolest" ex ever or plainly just a mature person, Gomez partied with Baldwin along with the likes of Gigi Hadid and a lot of their girlfriends. Since Baldwin has known Justin Bieber since she was only 13, it's not impossible that she has already met Gomez while she was still dating the 21-year-old "Sorry" hit maker.
In a recent interview that he did with GQ, Bieber revealed that his only "bad breakup" was his relationship with Gomez. He plans on focusing solely on his future, and is staying away from romantic commitments as of the moment because he doesn't want to damage the girl that might get involved with him the next.
Gomez has stated in an interview how she still cares about his ex-boyfriend's health and well-being, but is truly exhausted with their on-again off-again relationship. Assumptions of them being together again surfaced when Bieber was seen serenading Gomez at a hotel in Beverly Hills and taking a walk together afterwards, but unfortunately, she slams all the possibilities of a romantic fire being rekindled.
The "Same Old Love" singer also shared during the same interview how negatively their relationship has affected her over the years. She admitted to being young at the time and thinking that "everything was cute," but when she got her heart broken, that's where she knew that being in a relationship isn't just about having fun.
Gomez bravely shared how she felt lost along the way, explaining that she was crying in a corner while hitting her head against the wall and just simply not knowing what to do.
