As they should, some days go wrong for specific reasons, and how you wish you could just go somewhere magical in one flick of a wand. But, as stated in "Hogwarts, A History," you can't just pop into the school grounds that easily, unless you have a flying Ford Anglia that can take you to Hogwarts.

In the meantime, enjoy ten of the many quotes from Harry Potter that will help you survive a dreadful day:

1. "It is a curious thing, Harry, but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it. Those who, like you, have leadership thrust upon them, and take up the mantle because they must, and find to their own surprise that they wear it well."

2. " 'The thing about growing up with Fred and George,' said Ginny thoughtfully, 'is that you sort of start thinking anything's possible if you've got enough nerve.' "

3. "It's our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."

4. "It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your own enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends."

5. "We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose t act on. That's who we really are."

6. "I am what I am an' I'm not ashamed. 'Never be ashamed,' my ol' dad used ter say, 'there's some who'll hold it against you, but they're not worth bothern' with.' "

7. "Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean it's not real?"

8. "Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect."

9. "One can never have enough socks."

10. "The last trace of stream evaporated in the autumn air. The train rounded a corner. Harry's hand was still raised in farewell. 'He'll be alright,' murmured Ginny. As Harry looked at her, he lowered his hand absentmindedly and  touched the lightning scar on his forehead. 'I know he will.' The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well."
