Lindsay Lohan was slammed after she endorsed Hillary Clinton.

The Wrap reported that the 68-year-old U.S. presidential candidate has scored an endorsement from Lindsay Lohan. Last Monday, the "Mean Girls" star took to her Instagram and Twitter accounts to show her support for Clinton.

"Hillary Clinton... I couldn't understand you more," Lohan wrote.

According to BreitBart, Lindsay Lohan's post showed a photo of the candidate with a quote during her Oct. 2015 testimony regarding the Sep. 11, 2012 Benghazi terror attacks.

"I've thought more about what happened than all of you put together," the image stated. "I've lost more sleep than all of you put together. I've been racking my brain about what could have been done, should have been done."

This led to an onslaught of backlash from Twitter users. "By this do you mean you both understand what it's like to regularly break the law and get away with it?" one user tweeted.

"Do you know who had a hard time sleeping? The 4 mothers she lied to while standing over their sons bodies. Seeing movie tomorrow," another Twitter user posted.

The Hollywood Gossip noted that this is not the first time that Lindsay Lohan has endorsed a questionable candidate.

The publication added that the "Mean Girls" actress supported a known cocaine smuggler in his presidential campaign in Brazil. Last year, Lohan also greeted notorious Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar on Instagram.

Meanwhile, NY Daily News reported that her brother, Michael Lohan Jr., recently accepted a community service offer after he was caught using a fake dashboard card that claimed to be "Official Business Vehicle Identification" issued by the "State of New York Executive Branch."

The police saw the fake document on display in Lohan's parked 2015 Audi on Oct. 29. He faced charges of criminal possession of a forged instrument as well as criminal impersonation.

"The district attorney understood that by facilitating this, it would create no impediment for his licensing," Lohan's lawyer said.
