Those who watch the "Warcraft" movie this June may receive a free "World of Warcraft" game from Blizzard.
VG247 reported that Blizzard may be thinking about giving "Warcraft" movie-goers a free game. It was said that the "World of Warcraft: Ultimate Movie Edition," with its base MMO and all expansions before "Legion," will be included in the package at no cost.
Moreover, those who watch the "Warcraft" movie can also receive one month of game time for free.
The publication noted that Blizzard is already sending out an email for feedback. The company also took to Reddit to confirm the legitimacy of the email since a typo caused phishing concerns.
"Although it's always a good idea to be wary of phishing attempts, I wanted to drop in to let you know that this survey is legitimate," Blizzard customer support wrote.
"I'm not sure if a correction email has been sent (good feedback), but I do know that the typo has since been corrected for subsequent mailings. I'll be sure to forward the suggestion along!"
The "Ultimate Movie Edition" is said to include digital copies of these expansions: "Burning Crusade," "Wrath of the Lich King," "Cataclysm," "Mists of Pandaria" and "Warlords of Draenor."
According to PCGamesN, those who watch the "Warcraft" movie will also receive a unique in-game item. "WoW's" upcoming expansion, "Legion," has been speculated to be available by the film's release date.
"Warcraft" movie will hit theaters on Jun. 10, 2016. It was previously reported that director Duncan Jones has hinted at a possibility of a sequel.
"I know that my job in this first film is to establish certain characters, places and culture while telling a story that a broad audience can be excited by," he told 2p in an interview.
"Hopefully, if I have done my job right, people will want to know and see more! There is certainly plenty more to tell!"
