The survey is based on the "Trust Index Employee" - where a sample pool from the company's own staff members participate. It also considers the responses based on the "Culture Audit" which dives deeper into the benefits, training, culture and compensation packages of the company.

1. Acuity Insurance - "Have Fun" is a core value at this property and casualty insurer. Ping-pong tables and a popcorn machine awaits employees in the cafeteria. Their summer family picnic is packed with rides, $250 door prizes, an adult casino and human foosball. Making it more fun, #Selfie days and beach bashes come together with high salaries (an average of $16K above industry average) and generous merit increases.

2. The Boston Consulting Group - The global consultancy firm came up with the Predictability, Teaming and Open Communication program that focuses on work-life balance. It has been a hit with their employees which led to a 74% increase in long term employee retention.

3. Wegmans Food Markets - This family owned supermarket chain remains family oriented. One employee says that the "... Management cares about its employees and always asks how we are doing when we come into work or are just shopping." Wegmans makes sure their employees' wellness are cared for wiht immunizations, yoga sessions, and other healthcare programs.

4. Quicken Loans - This online mortgage lending company provides $3,500 incentives to team members who rent a home in the downtown area or $20,000 in forgivable loans for a home purchase, and chips in another $5,000 for home improvements.
