It stands out that despite the success that both Beyonce and Jay-Z have experienced, a hurdle is blocking the path to success. It has been noted that Jay-Z is presently in a legal rift against the Tidal owner.
According to post from the Business Standard, "Jay-Z, who is the present owner of the music streaming service Tidal, has notified its former owners of potential compensation claims, saying they overstated the number of subscribers before the sale."
However, Project Panther Bidco Ltd has been noted to have bought Tidal's Scandinavian parent company, Aspiro for a hefty 56 million dollars as of last year. In line with that, the claim was laid regarding how it was misled about how many people subscribed to the service, suggesting the price tag was too high, according to the same post.
Even though Jay Z set for the claims, Tidal rebutted. According a released a statement by Tidal, "The total number of subscribers was well below the 540 000 reported to us by the prior owners. As a result, we have now served legal notice to parties involved in the sale."
It remains to be seen how the lawsuit would fare in the court. As for Jay Z, his business dealings and trades have always been his utmost priority. He aims on stabilizing his career and his enterprise. A past report from Jobs & Hire has posted on how Jay Z remained dedicated to his trade and was enjoying the fruits of his investments.
It goes without saying that Beyonce's husband Jay Z wants transparency, clarity and solidity in all of his business dealings and he is ready to take it to the court whenever the need arises.
