Nike's brand ambassadors paid tribute to Kobe Bryant. This season is the last season for the LA Lakers player.

According to Sports Illustrated, athletes signed to Nike honored the Black Mamba. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Rob Gronkowski, Serena Williams and Odell Beckham were the brand ambassadors who shared their thoughts on the Black Mamba's basketball legacy.

The athletes revealed how Bryant has been disliked. Thunder forward Kevin Durant described him as an "a------." "He happened to say, like, you guys can't even sit at the lunch table with me," Durant said in the video. "I got five championships. What do you have?"

ESPN reported that the Lakers will take on the Utah Jazz this Wednesday. It will be the season finale for both teams and Nike has declared it Mamba Day. The game is scheduled at 10:30 p.m. ET. It will be shown on ESPN2 as well as the WatchESPN app.

Last November, YHM reported that the NBA star has announced that this will be his final season. His retirement was announced in The Player's Tribune.

"You gave a six-year-old boy his Laker dream and I'll always love you for it," he wrote. "But I can't love you obsessively for much longer."

"This season is all I have left to give. My heart can take the pounding, my mind can handle the grind but my body knows it's time to say goodbye."

In the article, the Los Angeles Lakers Shooting Guard wrote about how he fell in love with basketball as a six-year-old boy. He also wrote about how he accepted every challenge for the sport he loved the most. "I'm ready to let you go," he added. "I want you to know now. So we both can savor every moment we have left together."

"And we both know, no matter what I do next. I'll always be that kid with the rolled up socks. Garbage can in the corner, [with] :05 seconds on the clock [and] ball in my hands."
