The tech-world is getting ready for Acer to release its newest line of machinery that's fit for gaming professionals, tech-savvy entrepreneurs and the busy career individual.
The debut of the product lines were unveiled at a global Acer event in New York City on Apr. 21, 2016. E Week, describes its product line as a "refresh" with its array of new notebooks, gaming machines and convertible notebooks with an intriguing liquid-cooled tech as well as related accessories and docks that fit well with the products.
But out of the many machines unveiled at the event, there were two products that fit perfectly well for the busy professional.
1. The Chromebook 14 for Work is the newest machine with a 14-inch full HD display. It holds a 6th generation Intel Core processor with a battery life of up to 12 hours. What's great about this machine, according to E Week, is that it has a Corning Gorilla Glass display cover with a spill-resistant keyboard - a lucky feature for the busy coffee-drinker, and that it's ruggedized to meet military standards for moisture, drops, impacts and more. It's a perfect machine for people on-the-go. It comes with 2GB, 4GB or 8GB of dual-channel LPDDR3 SDRAM memory and 16GB or 32GB eMMC storage for consumers, enterprises, institutions and school. The Chromebook 14 will be available in May starting at $349 in the United States.
2. The Switch Alpha 12 (2 in 1) is a silent liquid-cooled hybrid laptop, according to EnGadget. It doesn't have a cooling fan which is perfect for silent business operations, consumers, schools and the working professional. What's great for presentations and quick designing is its In-Plane Switching touch-screen display that let's you write on its screen. Available as options are a backlit keyboard, an Acer Active Pen for writing on its screen, and several docking stations for individual or multiple business users. This machine will be available at $599 in May.
