Channing Tatum is coming back in a huge way! While a third Magic Mike movie has not been announced, fans can definitely look forward to “Magic Mike Live.” 36 year old Tatum just announced that he will be doing his first ever Facebook Live session in the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino beginning next March.
Tatum even went so far as to request one specific thing: feedback. The show, which will have Cosmopolitan as a partner, would like to reshape what male entertainment is. Tatum said, “We want to change what male entertainment has been for years. For 40, 50 years, it hasn't changed and we want to make it better.”
He added, “We got to do some different stuff and have some fun in different ways and make it more of a conversation instead of just men going up there and trying to tell you what you should think is sexy. We really want to hear from you.”
Coming from a star who loves getting undressed, this request should not be too difficult for fans. Entertainment Weekly however reported that there is still more to Tatum than getting naked on camera. He said, “It should be woman-empowering instead of just about guys getting naked.”
As to who to expect in “Magic Mike Live,” fans should not rule out the alums. Tatum shared, “I will absolutely step on stage, just because it's fun. I'm sure there'll be a lot of crazy cameos.”
The show will be directed by Channing Tatum himself. Joining him are “Magic Mike” choreographer Alison Faulk and choreography will be done by Teresa Espinoas, who was also the assistant choreographer for “Magic Mike.”
Check out the announcement below. And yes, in classic Magic Mike fashion, it does feature a lot of shirtless guys hanging out at Channing Tatum's crib. And as an bonus, it also has a lot of puppies for all the "gentleladies" out there!
