It appears that the recent news and updates for Nexus 7 2016 was a bit disappointing for those that have been expecting the device to appear in Google I/O event. Also, not only the Nexus 7 2016 but even the Android N failed to make an appearance as well.

The Google I/O event happened from May 18 to 20 and the rumor mill was working double time for the device right before the event and many believed that it would be announced, but since the upcoming Android operating system isn't ready yet, so is the device, reports Christian Today.

Moreover, there are several speculations surrounding the specification of the device and several are mentioning that the resurrected 7-inch tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, paired with a 4GB RAM and will offer a QHD screen resolution, according to the same report.

The Nexus line has been known to not use the features that would entail the use of a microSD slot but it appears that Nexus is breaking that record. Rumors has it that the new Nexus 7 2016 would have 200GB or 2TB of storage expansion and also there are three variants to be released on the market with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB at hand. It was already mentioned that the forthcoming device would be priced in variant digits. The Google Nexus 7 is marked between $229 and $269, according to Jobs & Hire.

It is irrefutable that Google Nexus 7 2016 is a product that can set the bar higher in terms of tech and gear usage and the stunning specs, feature and pricing might enhance the want of the tech enthusiasts but since Google has not released official affirmation for Google Nexus 7 2016 release date, every information should be weighed and taken with a grain of salt in mind, as noted by the same post.

It is undeniable that the Nexus 7 2016 was indeed a "no show" during the Google's I/O and even the Android N was not seen as well. Owing to that, many are insinuating why Google did not included the Nexus 7 2016 and the Android N on its event lineup.
