"Overwatch" is a game that has transcended the gaming world and arena. It was a surprising boost and before any gamer waste the time in playing the game, there are vital things to know before a gamer waste the time in playing the game. Moreover, speculations of the new game outrunning "World of Warcraft" arise.

Blizzard's "Overwatch" is out today, making it the first brand-new property from the "World of Warcraft" developer in close to two decades, and while it looks like what would happen if Pixar's B-team designed a multiplayer shoot-'em-up, there's a lot of hidden complexity in the way its roster of playable characters interact, reports The Verge.

The most obvious touchstone for "Overwatch" is Valve's Team Fortress 2, another cartoony multiplayer FPS with multiple characters, each with very different skills and players of that class-based game will find a lot of overlap here, according to the same report. However, for "Overwatch," the need to share is relatively common in the game.

It stands out that as Overwatch servers went live yesterday all over the world, the critics and fans rendered time to scrutinize Blizzard's first shooter game and so far, the game was able to live above the mediocre ones. Unlike Battleborn, Overwatch doesn't feature lanes, traditional MOBA maps or modes, or even mainstay features like creeps and the game has a roster of 21 playable heroes, spread across offence, defence, tank, and support, as noted by VG24/7.

It is irrefutable that "Overwatch" was able to gain much praise from the critics and fans alike. However, it remains unsettled on whether the game can outrun and outpace the legacy that the "World of Warcraft" has left behind in the past and of the present.
