"High School Musical" has had its fair share of praises but none of them are coming from actor Zac Efron. The HSM star has been getting heat from fans for his remarks about his character. He regretted playing Troy Bolton but he did say good things about the cast and crew. That also includes his ex, Vanessa Hudgens.
Everyone mostly remembers "High School Musical" as a budding young romance between two high school students and the adventures they go through with their friends. It started a decade ago with Efron and Hudgen's on-screen romance that also turned into a real life relationship. In life and on set, the two have been followed closely through their ups and downs, their break-ups and get-togethers.
Efron went to social media to remember the good times. On his Instagram post using his social media handle @zacefron, he recalled that time he was with Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale and ex Vanessa Hudgens, on the set of "High School Musical." He described is as a "most cherished and exciting time." Though their romance has fizzled out, loyal fans still follow the two celebrities' lives. Fans caught Vanessa Hudgens responding to Zac's throw back post. She went on Twitter where she also posted a throw back picture of her and her ex boyfriend. She captioned her post, "A modern day snapchat love story."
Are the couple getting back together on the set of "High School Musical 4?" It is unconfirmed if they are casted for the fourth installment. Disney has previously announced that "High School Musical 4" will showcase new faces and names. It is unlikely that previous cast members of the franchise will be featured in the upcoming HSM movie.
