If you know Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, then you know they make up the iconic "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." The second movie installment, "Out of the Shadows," took the 32 year old franchise to a whole 'nother level.

According to movie reviews from Game Spot, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" made it clear that it's a black and white picture. There are only good guys and bad guys. Shredder (played by Brian Tee) wants power and with the help of Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry), a mad scientist who wants to make history at any cost, the two set out to cause chaos. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" introduces a new player to the game, the interdimensional warlord named Krang (Brad Garrett). He's the brain that everyone knows and hates.

He seeks to take over the world with Bebop (Gary Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE's Sheamus) by his side. They remained faithful to the 1980's animation series. The four turtles must stop at nothing to prevent Krang from taking over the Earth.

Reviews indicate that "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" focused on the execution of the old story while not being too serious. Viewers will get a taste of nostalgia while focusing on its characters faithfully. Fans who have seen the animated series, would feel that the 80's television show will be brought back to life in appropriate justice.

However, according to Rotten Tomatoes, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" scored rotten. Critics citing the slo-mo scenes of the tight-wearing actress as a focal point while some called it witless. The current Tomatometer scores a 17% for the one hour and 37 minute film.
