She dedicated her song "Transfiguration" to her dear friend. "One thing about Christina and her family is that she holds her faith so closely to her," Selena said. "I think it's not about a religion and it's not about good deeds. I think she just had faith and I don't really understand how this really happened, but I would like to dedicate this song to her." She said this to her audience while in tears.

Many artists also mourned of her passing. Fifth Harmony dedicated a moment of silence for Grimmie. "She was nothing but nice to us, so humble. We love you. We're praying for your family and we know that you're smiling down from above. Let's all remember her. Christina Grimmie," Tweeted the band.
