The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" release date has been confirmed. A new trailer for the game has also been revealed.

Game Rant reported that Bandai Namco has announced that the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" release date will be happening this fall. The highly-anticipated sequel to last year's online multiplayer title will be published for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" release date is scheduled for Oct. 25 for Xbox One and PS4. Its PC version will be made available on Oct. 28.

Along with the announcement comes the release of a new trailer. The video showcased many of the villains for "Dragon Ball Z" as they battle with the player. The game will feature the Time Patrol's efforts to set time on the right track.

The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" trailer revealed a new Super Saiyan 3 form for the player's chosen character. This feature was previously off-limits in the original game.

In addition to the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" release date announcement, it was also confirmed that DJ Steve Aoki will be joining the game's development team.

According to ComingSoon.net, the famous DJ will remix some musical tracks from the "Dragon Ball Z" universe. This would definitely include fan favorites such as "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" and "We Gotta Power."

Moreover, DJ Steve Aoki will make his debut appearance in a "Dragon Ball" video game with the release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." His non-playable character, with whom players can interact with in the game's hub city named Conton, is an additional bonus to the collaboration.

Aoki expressed his excitement over the collaboration since he grew up with "Dragon Ball." He also admitted that he wants to leave a "personal impact on the series."

"'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' is shaping up to be the biggest and best Dragon Ball videogame experience to date," VP of Marketing at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Eric Hartness said. "Both the contribution of DJ Steve Aoki's musical talents and his in-game likeness will add a fun new dimension to the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 experience that fans will appreciate."
