A new trailer for the "One Piece: Gold" movie has been released. The 30-second video gave fans a glimpse on what to expect in the film.

Fandom Post reported that the latest "One Piece: Gold" movie trailer showed off new scenes from the film. It also showcased the movie's fun soundtrack.

The "One Piece: Gold" movie is slated for release on Jul. 23. Prior to that, on Jul. 16 at 9 p.m. JST, a TV special entitled "One Piece: Heart of Gold" will be aired to connect the two works. It is directed by Tatsuya Nagamine and is based on the screenplay by Tsutomu Kuroiwa.

According to Movie News Guide, the official plot of the "One Piece: Gold" movie has revealed that the film is set in the home of the Marines, Gran Tesoro. These Marines are some of the notorious pirates who mingle with the world's millionaires.

Apparently, even the World Government can't touch these Marines because of their "absolute sanctuary" in Gran Tesoro. In the "One Piece: Gold" movie, Luffy (voiced by Mayumi Tanaka) will lead the Straw Hat Pirates to meet the ruler of Gran Tesoro, Gildo Tesoro (voiced by Kazuhiro Yamaji and Takahiro Sakurai).

There are a lot of speculations surrounding the film. It was previously reported that the "One Piece: Gold" movie could feature a cameo appearance by Naruto.

It was said that the Seventh Hokage will meet the Straw Hat Pirates at one point in "One Piece" film "Gold." It is said to involve ramen, one of Naruto's favorite food.

Another rumor points to Nami's return in the "One Piece: Gold" movie. MNG noted that this news is unsurprising since Nami is an important character in the series.

Chatt Sports Net added that the "One Piece: Gold" movie is expected to defeat "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" in terms of box office sales. The "DBZ" film was released on 653 theaters in Japan while the upcoming "One Piece" movie is slated for release in 743 theaters.
