"The Division" 1.4 update will create major changes in the game, which will make its difficulty modes disappear.

"The Division" 1.4 patch will definitely bring in significant changes in the game's gears, weapons, armors and skills, Gotta Be Mobile reported.

Accordingly, three base stats for all gears in World Tier 2 and above will be introduced - Firearms, Stamina, and Electronics. Aside from this, there will also be changes on bonuses, especially on critical shot and headshot damage in order to stabilize and balance the game.

Unfortunately, gears will also have zero bonus while overlapping of Gear Scores has also been removed. Furthermore, High-End gear has been rebalanced. Many believe that these gear changes will make it easier for players to customize their builds to fit in "The Division."

Another notable change that players will see in "The Division" is its weapons. Accordingly, the strength of the impact of the weapons will be rebalanced, while major bonuses were added depending on the mod quality.

According to PC Gamer, a new formula for the computations of damage will be also introduced, so instead of additive, it will now become multiplicative. As to the changes in armor damage, it will all be based on the Stamina and on the Tier the player is in.

As to skills, take note that Electronics will be the new source of Skill Power, and instead of linear scale, it will now use a curve of diminishing returns. Obviously, some skills have also been overpowered while others are lowered down. Skills are also rebalanced in order to fit in the new game.

According to reports, the Public Test Realm for PC users will take place on the last week of September. Players should take note that the PTS will need around 45GB before it can be downloaded. After the PTS, "The Division" 1.4 update will then be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC anytime in October.
