The first look of the brand new Samsung laptop was released and people are clamoring for it. What was once previously named in rumors as "Kevin" is now the Samsung Chromebook Pro.
Chrome Unboxed got the first glimpse of the hybrid device in which they described it, "And it is beautiful. Simply beautiful." They also think that it will be one of the best Chromebooks this coming fall.
So what should people expect when they buy a Samsung Chromebook Pro?
According to Forbes, the Samsung Chromebook Pro will have a 12.3-inch touchscreen. It will have also have a 2400 by 1600 resolution and the screen can rotate 360 degrees. The Chromebook will have slim bezels and will weigh around 2.38 pounds which is not too heavy to carry around. The body will have an all-metal 0.5-inch thick chassis and 10 hours of battery life. The device comes with the standard 32gb storage and a stylus which will be a first for a Chromebook.
The stylus which is located at the side of the device is a welcome addition to the new Samsung Chromebook Pro. The landing page for the Samsung Chromebook Pro was taken down but it was reported that the device will come with the ArtCanvas app preinstalled and will guarantee that the user will be able to maximize the use of the stylus which was aptly named as "PEN."
While the usual Chromebook is priced between $199 USD and $399 USD, the Samsung Chromebook Pro will be priced at $499 USD which might seem to be a bit more expensive for a Chromebook. It is rumored to be released by October 24 however it seems like the listing where it was mentioned has been put down.
Interested buyers will just have to wait for official announcements on the release of the new Samsung Chromebook Pro.
