Target Declares Recall Of 127,000 LED Gel Cling Halloween Decorations

Have you bought any LED Gel Cling Halloween Decorations at Target today?Target Corporate issues recall of about 127,000 LED Gel Cling Halloween Decorations over choking and ingestion hazard.

The threats have six distinct Halloween-motif that come with non-replaceable button cell batteries and compromise of three sizes.The gel clings designs:

  • green skeleton
  • pink skeleton
  • purple spider, black cat
  • orange pumpkin
  • black bat

It sticks to the window and lights up with blinking lights as you push. The packaging is printed with model number 234-25-0904.

China's the leading manufacturer as Minnesota Target Corporation's the importer of the clings. The sales happened nationwide from August 2016 through September 2016; it was sold for $1.

 U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported the recall since October 20, 2016. They conducted the recall through CPSC's Fast Track Recall process; they opted to announce the issue to protect the buyers quickly. A remedy of quick refund is for customers who purchased the cling.

According to US News, no incidents has been reported since the release of the Halloween designs. It should also be stowed away in case of near association with children.

The recall struck hard as it pulls down Target's stock market value with already a decline of 6% over the year. Wal-Mart stores and Amazon neck-neck battle with Target made it more difficult.
